For decades Easter Seals Massachusetts has been a proud provider of recreation programs for individuals with disabilities and today is no different. As we continue to adapt and change so have our programs. Please continue to check in to see what exciting and new programing we have to offer to ensure equal opportunities to play!


Accessible Martial Arts

The Accessible Martial Arts Program is for people with and without disabilities who want to learn and practice self-defense, stretching, exercise, and relaxation techniques.

Participants can choose to pay $5 per class or $20 for all 5 classes. Those participants who are members of the YWCA do not have to pay. If you are unable to afford this program but would like to participate please let us know, we may be able to provide a scholarship.

The dates for the upcoming classes:

Monday, February 27th- 6 to 7pm

Monday, March 27th- 6 to 7pm

Monday, April 24th- 6 to 7pm

Monday, May 22nd - 6 to 7pm

Monday, June 26th- 6 to 7pm

*Please note:

Each participant will be required to fill out a waiver and release form in order to join the program.

This program is on a first come first serve basis, if you have been selected to join the class you will receive notice via email or phone. If the session is full you may be placed on a wait list and notified if a spot opens up.

This recreation program is supported by Easter Seals Massachusetts, YWCA Central Massachusetts, Center for Living & Working, Bay State Wheelers and the REDD Group.
