Group Horsemanship
Horsemanship group lessons offer Veteran and Military personnel opportunities to experience new challenges and to develop new ways to approach and solve problems. Through purposeful individual and group interactions with horses, participants will learn how to create safe, equal, and effective horse-human relationships, and may develop or improve essential life skills such as emotional regulation, communication skills, self-awareness, and self-confidence. Through these unmounted horsemanship classes, individuals will gain an education on:
- Safety and tack considerations
- Grooming and hoof care
- Feeding & forage
- Equine first aid, common ailments, and treatments
- R+ positive reinforcement training
Fee: $95 per 6-week term

English & Western Group Riding Lessons
With Finn, the horse adopted by VFW Post 2125 | Mounted riding lessons offer Veteran and Military personnel a chance to develop "in-the-moment" communication skills with their horse. Through completion of a series of scaffolded challenges, participants and their mount build a mutual understanding, trust, and partnership.
Fee: $330 per 6-week term
Rolling Admission.
