Easterseals MA has been a leader in disability services for over 75 years. Since 1944, Easterseals programs and services have focused on everyone reaching their full potential regardless of disability or location.
Easterseals' philosophy of service is based on an itinerate model, which means our specialists and therapists move around-often physically, but also within the content and skill they focus on with students or clients. This model avoids being prescriptive and confined to any particular space, often resulting in a more reliable and flexible outcome for people's individual goals and challenges.
Easterseals MA also focuses on being collaborative with public schools, day programs, and various institutions making us one of the only agencies to serve all regions in the state!
Easter Seals services help people of all ages with all kinds of disabilities -- individuals disabled through illness, accident or aging, developmental, intellectual, as well as people born with disabilities.
Easter Seals serves people at more than 100 sites in communities all over Massachusetts, including Technical and Training Centers in Boston and Worcester.
Easterseals serves the entire state of Massachusetts. The goal of all Easter Seals services is to help people live as full and independent lives as possible, right in their own communities. Our service model is itinerated and collaborative, meaning we contract with other institutions such as public schools, nursing homes, and day programs to serve the people where they need it the most!
