Emcee: Tevin Wooten

Tevin Wooten is an Emmy® award-winning weather reporter and an on-camera meteorologist who just joined NBC 10 in Boston in 2022. He brings true professionalism. His talent for storytelling resonates beyond the forecast and he exemplifies journalistic integrity that every newsroom strives for.

Tevin holds degrees in broadcast journalism from the University of Arkansas, and meteorology from Florida State University, with a minor in mathematics.

He is the former president of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association (North Florida Chapter). Tevin has worked as a journalist and weather anchor in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and spent time as an EV30 design intern with engineers at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

In addition to his daily forecasting responsibilities, Tevin will also be seen in the NBC10 Boston Weather Warrior—the weather center on wheels—and the one-of-a-kind Doppler radar truck, the Storm Ranger, where he will be able to give live views and exclusive real-time updates during extreme weather..
