ACCESSIBLE MARTIAL ARTS

The Accessible Martial Arts Program is for people with and without disabilities who want to learn and practice self-defense, stretching, exercise, and relaxation techniques. We currently offer classes in both Worcester and Boston.

ACCESSIBLE MARTIAL ARTS: WORCESTER 

Participants can choose to pay $5 per class or $20 for 5 classes. Those participants who are members of the YWCA do not have to pay. If you are unable to afford this program but would like to participate please let us know as we may be able to provide a scholarship.

Please note: Each participant will be required to fill out a waiver and release form in order to join the program.

This program is on a first come first serve basis, if you have been selected to join the class you will receive notice via email or phone. If the session is full you may be placed on a wait list and notified if a spot opens up.

This recreation program is supported by Easter Seals Massachusetts, YWCA Central Massachusetts, Center for Living & Working, Bay State Wheelers and the REDD Group.

ASL accommodation requests must be received at least 3 weeks before the class.

Due to the success of Accessible Martial Arts: Worcester, we are proud to announce that beginning in February 2018, we will be offering our class monthly as a pilot program in Boston
