 American Youth Soccer Organization 

The mission of the AYSO EPIC Program is to provide athletes with disabilities the additional support they need to fully participate in a quality soccer experience. Volunteer buddies help our athletes not only participate but excel in this program.  
 
 
Autism/Asperger's Activities + Discussion Group Private, request to join group, Claremont, meet friends, socialize, in-person and Zoom meetings, 18+, career workshops, youth group, fitness, cooking, math classes.


Broadway Gym Special needs program for 18 months and older and 1:1 and group and after-school classes in West LA.


Danny's Farm Inclusive petting zoo in Pomona, housed by Cal Poly Pomona, created by former Dodgers pitcher Jim Gott and his wife to honor their autistic son. Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and has a mobile petting zoo.


Dream Big Children's Center  Indoor play space in Monrovia for autistic kids with themed rooms, sound softening, and neural environment, offer ABA in-home and center-based, may bring the family to play while the child plays.


Exceptional Minds  Summer workshops, cultivating skills of autistic artists, hands-on experience, digital arts, and animation. 


Kids Like Me  Pre-K and high school programs for kids on the spectrum that offer extracurricular programs such as sports, art, dance, filmmaking, etc. 
 
 
Los Angeles School of Gymnastics All ages can be part of OT and may be able to receive financial assistance for classes.


One with Water  Semiprivate and private special needs classes, use community pools, throughout LA. Scholarships available.


Ride On  Adaptive horseback riding from age 6 and up with autism and other disabilities, scholarships available, located in Chatsworth, Newbury Park.
 
 
Rolling Robots  Building workshop, inclusive space in Glendale, West LA, Palos Verdes. 
 
 
The Children's Ranch   Therapeutic horseback riding, ranch play, and sibling and parent workshops are in Griffith Park.


The Gentle Barn Animal sanctuary, space for special needs and kids, open Sundays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Santa Clarita.


The Miracle Project

Located in Beverly Hills to develop and perform original musicals that combine theater, film, music, movement, and expressive arts for kids with autism to develop as artists.

 
 
The Sensory Spot Pomona play/sensory/gym for open play, social skills programs, Saturday 3-hour drop and go.


Social Detective Academy Social skills camps and weekly groups, Sherman Oaks, and other locations are available, as well for camps/groups.
 
 
Travel Town Museum Foundation Outdoor space with train tables, climbing into a real engine, part of the Griffith Park experience, LA.


We Rock the Spectrum Inclusive gym space with sensory equipment for sensory processing disorder, but open to all kids, abilities, and ages, multiple locations.

Anaheim YMCA Free day camp, July 10-July 28 8a-2p, Franklin, Lincoln, Stoddard, Sunkist, Westmont locations.


Art Classes  Virtual art classes 2 times a week.


Arts Parks!  Art camp for autistic kids, age 7-10, 7/24 for 5 days, 9a-12p.


City of Irvine - Great Parks Free air balloon ride, waiver required, early arrival recommended due to "selling out", the park also contains zipline, carousel (tickets must be purchased), and playground.


Creative Identity - Expressive Art Expressive arts program for adults, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Anaheim.


Creative Identity - Life Skills  Life Skills classes that teach nutrition, academic skills, money management, exercise, and to live independently. 


Creative Identity - Music Therapy  Music therapy for adults with developmental disabilities, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Anaheim and Laguna Beach.


Financial Assistance Program  Financial assistance is offered for a variety of programs.

Pretend City  Free monthly event for all abilities at Children's Museum.

Soccer Shots  Soccer programs that have different levels based on developmental needs, June 18-August 20, Ponderosa Elementary Anaheim for ages 5-8 though other locations/programs available.


The Shea Center Equine-assisted therapy and activities for all abilities.
