Caleb
Caleb served over 12 years in the U.S. Navy where he worked as a hospital corpsman in combat providing medical assistance to U.S. Marines. After being injured and medically discharged, Caleb found it hard to get work and became discouraged.
Easterseals Bob Hope Veterans Support Program:
- Provided one-on-one support from an Employment Specialist who offered encouragement and helped Caleb build his motivation to find work and develop a more positive outlook
- Scouted opportunities and advocated with employers on Caleb’s behalf helped build interview skills and develop his resume
- Connected Caleb to a resource to get a mixologist certification
Job Success
Caleb is now a certified mixologist working at a bar and taking training in responsible beverage service with the goal of becoming a bar manager while he attends community college.
