Situational Assessment Services

Situational Assessment Services (Job Trial)

Work sites in the community are used to give individuals the opportunity to try out a job on a short-term basis to help determine his or her strengths and barriers to gaining employment. Opportunities include:

  • Simulated work trials with opportunities to experience actual job duties and activities; wages paid per Department of Labor guidelines.
  • Job exploration / observation.
  • Job shadowing.
  • Volunteer opportunities.

Work history, transferable skills, transportation and technology needs are also reviewed and assessed to further support employment efforts.
