Salina Rebuilds Her Life

Salina

Salina Weaver was a teenager when a car accident left her with a Traumatic Brain Injury at age 17. After three months in a coma, Salina lived at home for the next six years with her mother as primary caregiver.

In the past two years Salina’s life has changed tremendously as a result of her participation with Easter Seals Adult Day Services. With support from her Life Skills Coach, Salina does regular volunteer work in the local community, socializes with her peers and has set goals that include walking again, having her own home, and maintaining paid work.

“Easter Seals has made a big difference in my life. I love volunteering and working each day toward meeting my goals,” she says.
