Family Navigation and Support

When parents first learn their child has autism, they can feel lost, confused, and overwhelmed. Our professional Family Navigators are here to support families by creating an individualized plan that will allow their child to live a full, engaging life in the community.

Additionally, our navigators are here to support adults with developmental disabilities, including autism, as they prepare to enter the workforce. Our navigators will meet with them and create an individualized plan that addresses their needs and enables them to successfully enter the workforce.

Parent and Sibling Support Groups

Parent Support Groups

Our parent support groups provide opportunities for parents to know that they are not alone.

We offer parents a safe place to express their feelings, hurts, pressures, to ask questions, and to share their experiences with one another.

Participants will be asked to complete a brief informational form at their first meeting.

Parents of a Child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder:
This group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Join us at our St. Louis Autism Services Office: 11933 Westline Industrial Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146-3203.

Sibling Support Groups

This support group provides a safe space for siblings to learn about their brother or sister’s disability and how best to communicate with them.

We offer siblings a safe place to express their feelings, hurts, pressures, and questions. We provide two support groups, one for siblings in Kindergarten to 6th grade and one for siblings in 7th - 12th grade. Participants will be asked to complete a brief informational form at their first meeting.

Our Sibling Support Groups meet at our St. Louis Autism Services Office: 11933 Westline Industrial Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146-3203.
