Since 2009, Wallis Companies has supported Easterseals Midwest through All Stars for Autism, a fundraising campaign that provides help and hope to local families impacted by autism. Since it's beginning, this campaign has raised nearly $900,000 for life-changing autism programs. When this campaign began 14 years ago, the CDC estimated that one in 100 children was diagnosed with autism. Today, that number is one in 36.
In August, On the Run, U-Gas, and Dirt Cheap locations throughout the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area participate in All Stars for Autism by inviting customers to round up at the register. Many stores host auctions, raffles, bake sales, BBQs, and other special events to help raise awareness and the much-needed funds to provide programs and services for families and individuals impacted by autism.
Our community's support and the generosity of our vendor partners have made this campaign a tremendous success for the past 14 years.
