COVID-19 Staff Update (12/11/2020)

A message from CEO, Wendy Sullivan

Team,

As the Midwest continues to battle the significant increase in COVID-19 cases throughout our region and the nation, and although local and state ordinances vary by geographic location, I want to remind you that our policies do not. You must continue:

  • To social distance and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including a mask, at all times while at work.
  • Stay home when sick. No matter the severity. Cold, Flu, stomach ache - if you don’t feel well do not come to work.
  • Complete the travel questionnaire 24 hours before resuming work after travel.
  • Be diligent in handwashing, disinfecting surfaces, and completing daily health screenings.

I also want to share that all work-related in-person social gatherings are prohibited unless deemed critical to the delivery of our mission by your Chief Officer. Although we would all enjoy spending time with our teams in celebration during this holiday season, this is not the time to take any risk.

Currently, eight individuals with disabilities and 20 employees are positive for COVID-19. The only way we will continue to keep our number of cases low is through our commitment to our policies. Non-compliance with any of our policies may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Know that our COVID-19 task force remains in close contact with both state and local governments as they refine COVID-19 related recommendations and orders. We will continue to monitor these updates and make changes as needed over the coming months.

Thank you for your partnership and for following our policies. Your efforts are appreciated not only by your leadership team but also by those you support and their families.

Sincerely,

Wendy Sullivan

Chief Executive Officer
