Tuesday, July 19, the Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) was named as a finalist for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Awards. Easter Seals was honored to be a finalist, along with the other organizations who share our commitment to coaching, mentoring and finding meaningful employment for veterans in our community.

The Distinguished Service Awards honor individuals, companies, and non-profit organizations for their service to veterans in the Greater Washington business community. The Awards are presented in recognition of community stewardship and business leadership. Many Chamber members are also clients of the VSN because in addition to training veterans, Easter Seals helps companies recruit and retain this great talent. Our collaboration makes both businesses and our society stronger.

The Easter Seals VSN provides technical assistance and comprehensive support to address the needs of our military service members by training and transitioning veterans, wounded warriors, and military family members to civilian employment so they are reintegrated into the community.
