We take a holistic approach, providing comprehensive services to children and families in our neighborhoods, no matter their disability, military status, income, race, or age. To help each child reach their full potential, we provide personalized child development and early intervention services.

Child Development Centers
Easterseals Child Development Centers provide inclusive, high-quality services in a unique and developmentally appropriate environment for children under 5 years of age. The mission of the program is to provide early childhood education and early detection using observations and other assessment tools in an inclusive setting.

Early Intervention
Easterseals Early Intervention program serves infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, and their families in the District of Columbia. Services include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language therapy, and special instruction. Our early intervention providers work with families and caregivers to find ways to support their child's development.

Head Start & Early Head Start
Easterseals Head Start & Early Head Start prepare children for kindergarten and help their families achieve self-sufficiency. We provide high-quality pre-school programs at no cost to qualifying families in Southern Prince George's County, Maryland and the District of Columbia, Ward 5. Children of all abilities are welcome.

Level Up School Age Program
Easterseals Level Up School Age Program provides educational support and supervision in licensed centers for school-age children with and without disabilities. Before-school, after-school, and summer programs are open for enrollment of children in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Quality Improvement Network
QIN at Easterseals provides training and resources to 17 family childcare providers in adherence to Head Start Program Performance Standards and research-based best practices. We support enrolling children with QIN family childcare providers located in Wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 in the District of Columbia. We also connect families to comprehensive services such as family engagement and support, health and nutrition, mental health, and early intervention.
