Easterseals DC MD VA Employment Support Services
The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) helps veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness reintegrate into the labor force. Services include personalized career planning, in-demand job training and certifications, job placement and follow-up, and referrals to support services (such as housing, health, and transportation).
The Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) assists veterans and their spouses, including those with service-related disabilities, in finding civilian employment. Skilled job coaches help veterans connect their military experience with their passion to forge a new career path. VSN works with employers to place candidates in direct hire, temp-to-hire, and contract positions.
Easterseals DC MD VA is also an administrator of the Maryland Performance Incentive Grant Fund program, which seeks to reduce the state’s incarcerated population. Easterseals offers employment counseling to released individuals, including veterans, paving the way for successful reentry into the community.
