kessler

On Friday, May 13, Larry Bram, Senior Vice President, Innovation and Program Development at Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA along with Nathaniel Corbin, US Veteran, presented to the Kessler Foundation Board of Directors on how funding from the Kessler Foundation has a big impact on US veterans and their families.

The Kessler Foundation, a major nonprofit organization in the field of disability, is a global leader in rehabilitation research that seeks to improve cognition, mobility and long-term outcomes, including employment, for people with disabilities. Kessler Foundation leads the nation in funding innovative programs that expand opportunities for employment for people with disabilities.

Since 2005, the Kesler Foundation has awarded millions of dollars to organizations across the country in an effort to improve job skills and paid employment opportunities for all people with disabilities, including veterans and their families. The Easter Seals Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) was a previous recipient of the Signature Employment Grant from the Kessler Foundation. We extend a special thank you to the Kessler Foundation for their continued support of our efforts.
