'Be the Sunshine' this summer with purchases at participating CVS Pharmacy locations throughout Southern California.
CVS Pharmacy drugstores across Southern California will host their fourth annual, "Be the Sunshine," summer promotion to support Easterseals disability services for more than 25,000 people in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties.
The months-long fundraiser will be held jointly with CVS Pharmacy product partners:
- June: CELSIUS Energy Drinks, a PepsiCo Company.
- July: BodyArmor, a Coca-Cola brand.
- August: Edgewell Personal Care products Banana Boat Suncare and Hawaiian Tropic.
June Campaign Kickoff
Select purchases of 12 oz. CELSIUS energy drinks at participating CVS Pharmacy locations during the month of June will benefit Easterseals Disability Services, supporting individuals with disabilities and their families through vital programs, advocacy, and community-based resources throughout Southern California.
According to the CDC, 28.7% of U.S. residents, more than 70 million people across the country, have a disability. Of those, 23% live in California (more than 9 million), nearly 5.5 million of them in SoCal. One in 31 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with 1 in 26 kids in California diagnosed. Easterseals is SoCal’s largest provider of autism services.
Support Easterseals Southern California all summer long with your purchase of the following products:
- June: CELSIUS will donate 10 cents for every CELSIUS 12 oz. can purchased up to $10,000.
- July: Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling Company will donate $1 for every BodyArmor 28 oz. when you buy 2 for $5 OR BodyArmor Sport Water 1L when you buy 2 for $4, up to a total of $5,000.
- August: Purchase select Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic products, including: Banana Boat Sport Ultra Lotion SPF50+ (8 oz.), Sport Ultra Continuous Spray SPF50+ and SPF100 (6 oz.), and Aloe After Sun Soothing Gel (16 oz); Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Lotion SPF50 and SPF30 (8 oz.) and Protective Dry Oil Pump Spray SPF15 (8 oz). Edgewell Personal Care Products will donate 50 cents for each product purchased.
