How to Talk to Our Children About Racism

On June 23rd we were pleased to host a virtual discussion on How to Talk to Our Children About Racism. During the webinar, our esteemed panel spoke about Implicit Bias, books to encourage dialogue, and ways for parents and educators to celebrate and appreciate our differences and our similarities. Easterseals prides itself on creating an inclusive environment, especially for young children, and this was truly a testament to that mission.

Burtin, Associate Professor and Chair at The University of the District of Columbia; Dawn Goldfein, Military Family Advocate and Early Childhood Educator; Bryant T. Marks, Founding Director of The National Training Institute on Race and Equality; Jevonna Willis, Director of Head Start for Easterseals DC MD VA; and was Moderated by Darnell Burtin, Vice President of Development for Easterseals DC MD VA.
