Easterseals Announces New Healthcare IT Business Leader Board Member

SIILVER SPRING, MD – Easterseals DC MD VA is thrilled to announce the election of our newest member to the Board of Directors, Cheryl Campbell, founder and CEO of EagleForce Warrior Foundation.

"We are excited to welcome Cheryl Campbell to our Board of Directors,” said Jon Horowitch, president and CEO of Easterseals DC MD VA. “Cheryl’s leadership in information technology, healthcare, business, and veteran service are areas of expertise we need to ensure Easterseals continues to provide the high-quality services that make profound and positive differences in the daily lives of people of all ages with disabilities, special needs, military backgrounds and their families.”

Cheryl Campbell HeadshotCheryl Campbell is a nationally recognized executive in Health IT with over 30 years direct experience driving business growth, operations and strategic direction. She has a proven record of growing, restructuring, optimizing business through strategic innovation, IP Portfolio Management and operational excellence. She is currently the CEO of EagleForce Warrior Foundation, a nonprofit that provide air and ground transportation for wounded military service members’ extended families to be at the bedside of their loved ones and an internship program to support transition to civilian life. 

Cheryl currently serves on the board with Kaiser Permanente and ESADE Business School’s International Advisory Board, American Heart Association (AHA), and American Red Cross. She also served as board chair with AHA and Paralyzed Veterans of America.

 Cheryl has received numerous awards including the “Healthcare IT Game Changer” from ExecutiveBiz; FEDSCOOP DC’s Top 50 Women in Technology; and Poets & Quants’ Top 50 Global Executive MBA’s. She earned a Dual Global Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgetown McDonough School of Business and ESADE Business & Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
