The Advocacy Awards dinner brings together leaders in business, government relations, and professional services, along with military and government dignitaries. They unite in support of vital Easterseals programs and to honor advocates who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to advancing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities, including military families.
One of Washington, DC's premier networking events, the Advocacy Awards has generated more than $8 million since 2004. These funds help Easterseals continue its vital programs and services that strengthen our entire community:
- Early childhood education, including Head Start and Early Head Start programs
- Respite and caregiver support
- Adult day services
- The Veteran Staffing Network
- The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program
- The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals.
