General Volunteer Information

When & Where
With the exception of events and select group projects, the majority of volunteer activities are hosted during business hours: M – F between 8AM and 6PM. Please indicate your availability in the volunteer interest form so we can alert you if projects are available outside of these hours.

Villa Park is the host site for most volunteer activities, though we may be able to accommodate some requests for our satellite locations in Naperville and Elgin. Certain projects can also be completed from home or off-site.

Volunteers should expect to complete a background check, orientation, and sign Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley’s code of ethics and confidentiality statement.

Children are welcome to volunteer for age-appropriate activities under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
