Nature Explorers

Focused therapy programs are intended to allow children to address their therapeutic needs and goals amongst peers working on similar goals. In this program, an occupational therapist and speech-language pathologist will create opportunities for friendship formation and improve executive functioning skills.

This older preschool program occurs outside working in the garden and going on nature walks. Children will grow plants and nature activities with sensory exploration. During inclement weather, activities will be held inside.

Children Who Will Benefit:

Children ages 4-6 years old that are not an elopement risk and are looking to form friendships. The main goal of this group will be to work on facilitating conversations and play between peers. AAC and verbal language users are all welcome. Child should be able to follow 1-2 step directions.
