Friendship and Mental Wellness Group

Focused therapy programs are intended to allow children to address their therapeutic needs and goals amongst peers working on similar goals. This program will assist through strengthening social skills and navigating mental health topics by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Speech Language Pathologist. These clinicians will guide tackling mental wellness topics while engaging with peers in a fun and enjoyable environment.

Topics will include:

  • Managing Anxiety
  • Developing Self-Regulation Strategies
  • Navigating Bullying and PEer Pressure
  • Social Media Awareness
  • Developing Friendships
  • Self-esteem/confidence building
  • Advocating for yourself at school, home and in the community. 

Day and Time 

Wednesdays at 11:00, ages 9-14 years old 

Thursdays, 11:00, ages 7-12 years old
