Helping people with disabilities is what we do at Easterseals MORC… but we can’t do it alone. One way to get involved is by participating in an Easterseals MORC event. Please join our mission to help lead the way to 100% equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, families, and communities by supporting one or more of the events listed below
December 6, 2024: Cheers Gala |
On December 6th, 2024, we said cheers to Celebrating Innovation at our annual Cheers Gala! The event took place at the beautiful M1 Concourse where we welcomed roughly 350 guests and volunteers. Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful donors, sponsors, and partners, we exceeded our fundraising goal and raised over $263,000 for programs, services, and supports for individuals with disabilities and their families! Guests enjoyed a wonderful silent auction, a delicious strolling dinner and desserts prepared by Kristina's Catering, struck a pose in the photo booth, played casino style games for prizes, and oohed and aahed at a Drone Show! During the evening, we presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to the Family of Nancy Sinelli, former Self-Direction Administrator, for her lifetime of service, dedication, and commitment to individuals with disabilities. We held a moment of giving to raise funds for our new, state of the art Autism Comprehensive Care Center that we are building in Waterford. This new Center will offer a one-stop shop of services, while utilizing a groundbreaking care model that will not only address the needs of individuals with autism, but their family members as well. During the moment of giving, we raised over $50,000 for this new Center! |

February 28 - March 2, 2025: For Women OnlyTree Tops Resort in Gaylord, MI |
The 38th annual For Women Only (FWO) event will take place February 28 - March 2, 2025 at Tree Tops Resort in Gaylord, MI! FWO is all about women with giving hearts, celebrating successes and raising funds and awareness for Easterseals MORC and amazing services provided. Over the past 37 years, these very special women have raised over $2.7 million dollars! Participants must raise a minimum of $500 to attend. Easterseals MORC and the Grand Rapids Griffins hope you will join us on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Fox Subaru for our annual Hocey, Hops & Hope fundraising event. Guests can look forward to sample wonderful wines and craft beer served by the players of the Grand Rapids Giffins.
