Strengthening Families

Knowing when or who to turn to for help during crisis and stressful situations is challenging. Easterseals MORC offers services and resources for families who are:

  • Frustrated and discouraged by new, unexplained and unexpected behavioral changes
  • Involved with the legal system
  • Experiencing unusual and unhealthy arguments on a regular basis
  • Suspecting substance use
  • Noticing significant changes in mood and interactions with others
  • Considering out of home treatment options for their child

Easterseals MORC provides comprehensive, office and community based behavioral health services for families with children from prenatal to 18 years of age. Services are intended to increase resiliency by building on strengths and community supports to help families care for children in their own homes and provide the tools for children to thrive. We strive to provide services that are research based and proven to provide effective solutions and outcomes for the child and family. 

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic

Easterseals MORC’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) provides a comprehensive array of services necessary to create access, stabilize people in crisis, and provide the appropriate treatment for those with substance use and mental health disorders.  These services are provided regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.  For more information, click here.

Outpatient Services:

Our core services include individual, family and group therapy. 24/7 coverage for crisis intervention, family centered planning, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychological testing and neuropsychological testing.

Community Based Services: 

In addition to the outpatient services, Easterseals MORCprovides more intensive home and community based services to children and their families who have serious emotional conditions and /or substance abuse conditions. Services are eligibility based and funded through Community Mental Health. These services include:

  • Intensive Home-Based Services (in home therapy and care coordination)
  • Case Management (assessment, planning, coordinating, linking and referral)
  • Family Psycho-educational services
  • Community Living Supports
  • Respite
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Services for Children/Adolescents with substance use and mental health conditions
  • Juvenile Justice Programming
  • Adventure Therapy
  • Wraparound 
  • Trauma Specific Therapy
  • Adolescent Substance Use

Easterseals MORC accepts most major insurances including Medicaid HMO’s. Outpatient Services are provided at the Center Line, Auburn Hills, Southfield and Flint locations.  Community Based programming is provided at Auburn Hills and Southfield serving Oakland County, Flint serving Genesee County and Grand Rapids serving Kent county. Easterseals MORC receives funding through Network 180, Genesee Health System, Macomb County Community Mental Health and Oakland Community Health Network for individuals and families eligible under Medicaid.
