Miracle League of North Oakland Cuts the Ribbon on NEW Home Plate Concession Stand
On June 18th, 2022, Easterseals Michigan’s Miracle League of North Oakland cut the ribbon on the brand-new “Andrea Yatooma’s Home Plate Concession Stand.” A recent $100,000 donation from Greg & Chris Yatooma directly helped in the construction of the concession stand.

Mental Health IS Health Makes Big Impact
Throughout the month of May, Easterseals Michigan recognized Mental Health Awareness month by creating a movement targeted to bust the stigma around receiving mental health services. The theme of our campaign was “Mental Health IS Health” which emphasized making your mental health just as important as your physical health.

2022 Hockey, Hops, and Hope Raises Over $20,000
Hockey, Hops, and Hope is normally a time where individuals can get together with their favorite Grand Rapids Griffins players, sample some great wine and brews, and support a great cause. However, in light of the ongoing pandemic, Easterseals Michigan and The Grand Rapids Griffins made the tough decision to not hold the physical event. This year’s Hockey, Hops, and Hope was held March 25th through March 28th in the form of an Online Auction.

Michigan AgrAbility, a program of Easterseals Michigan and MSU Extension, supports farmers with disabilities, illness, or aging conditions, was recently named the 2021 Annual Charity by Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn.
