Vocational Job Training

In vocational training, participants work with dedicated employment service staff to learn work-readiness skills that will prepare them to work out in the community at an actual job site. Not only will they experience what it’s like to work in a professional environment, they will even earn a paycheck.

Training is provided at our modernized New Brunswick or Millville, NJ work centers. These facilities provide a safe and supportive environment where they will have the best opportunity to learn and thrive. We support participants in their journey to become the type of applicant employers want to hire.

During job training, participants learn:

• Interpersonal & leadership skills
• Time management
• Workplace safety
• Resume building
• Money management
• Problem solving
• Acceptable professional conduct
• Interviewing

Population Served
