Wendy Standifer, Director of Behavioral Health Services

Wendy is the Director of Behavioral Health Services and has been with Easterseals Michigan since 2001. She has her BA in Psychology from Michigan State University, MA in counseling from Oakland University, and is a National Certified Counselor. She specializes in substance use and criminal justice. She is also a MRT (Moral Recognation Therapy) trainer where she helps staff to learn how to help counsel individuals in the correctional system. Her hard work and dedication to the people served, and the community, has earned her numerous awards and accolades. Wendy has been awarded the Dr. Phil Award for Easterseals, is a member of the Presidents' Council, and awarded recognition for the Co-Occurring and Trauma Initiative through Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority.

Wendy has a son named Joshua and a chocolate lab named Mocha. She loves spending time with her family, kayaking, snorkeling, traveling, reading, boating, swimming, going out with friends, shopping, horseback riding, watching college football, playing cards and games, hanging out with her son doing any of these things.
