The Jayne Shover Center in Elgin opened in September 2005 to aid our mission to enable infants, children, and adults with disabilities to achieve their maximum independence, and to provide support for the families who love and care for them.
We thank the many community partners and businesses that lend their support through grants, donations and volunteering. There are many opportunities to get involved as a business or participant at the events below.
This spirited team event of chair volleyball occurs in February or March each year at Rieke Office Interiors and supports Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley’s Positioning and Mobility Clinic. The Clinic provides wheelchair customization and equipment adaptations to provide children with specials needs maximum independence.
All businesses or community members are welcome to create a team and enjoy a great evening of fun, food, drinks, raffles and music.
This family bike event occurs in early Fall each year. Cyclists can choose from distances ranging from a 2.5 mile family fun ride to a 100 mile endurance ride. All routes will start and end at end at this center.
