A workshop for caregivers
This workshop will help caregivers understand the effects of trauma on youth and how they can help in the course of treatment and safety.
After the workshop, participants will be able to:

Define a traumatic experience

Identify the types of trauma

Understand the importance of self-care

Identify the symptoms of trauma and how trauma affects childhood development and behavior

Identify specific tools to promote feelings of safety and well-being in traumatized youth
