Project ACTION Project ACTION (Accessible Community Transportation in Our Nation) is a congressionally created national technical assistance program authorized under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA). The foundational work of Project ACTION is in promoting cooperation between the disability community and transportation industry. Project ACTION maintains a database of transit systems (buses, shuttles, taxis, airport service, etc.) that are accessible for people with disabilities. Using the database is as simple as typing in your destination — for work or pleasure — and seeing the transit opportunities available to you.
