Easterseals early childhood education programs provide individualized, high quality services to children with and without disabilities to help them develop and thrive. These programs are created to meet the specific educational, developmental, and emotional needs of each student. Easterseals staff, teachers, and therapists have extensive training and expertise in providing services to children with disabilities, in accordance with goals created through IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams supporting the student and family.
Some Easterseals locations provide early childhood education services through Child Development Centers and/or Early Head Start and Head Start Programs. Early Head Start (ages 0-3) and Head Start (ages 3-5) promote school readiness and provide tools for every child to succeed, in addition to parental resources and support, at no cost for children of qualifying families.
