Michigan AgrAbility, a program of Easterseals Michigan and MSU Extension, supports farmers with disabilities, illness, or aging conditions, was recently named the 2021 Annual Charity by Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn.
When it came time to choose the 2021 Annual Charity, Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Hospitality Manager, Brik Rupperecht, suggested Michigan AgrAbility. Once it was agreed upon, the famous German-themed hotel and restaurant, created many ways for employees to contribute.
Throughout the year, employees contributed through payroll deductions and fundraising events including: a bike night, dunk tank, holiday open house, candy sales, and donation boxes.
Bavarian Inn's generous gift of over $15,000 will provide financial support to numerous farmers this year. Thank you Bavarian Inn, staff, and guests for supporting Michigan farmers!
