At Easterseals we provide services within a child’s natural environment to assist in strengthening families’ and caregivers’ capacities to help meet the developmental and health-related needs of their infants and toddlers. We use best practices in early intervention to provide support to parents and caregivers so that they can support their child’s development through everyday activities since parents are a child’s best teacher.
Every family in Birth to Three is assigned a PSP. This person is the primary person who comes into the home and has been selected by our team to be the best fit for a family. The PSP is there to support families through reflective practices, so that the family is providing the intervention their child needs through every day activities. This is done by building on what a family is already doing and working with them as a team to build their capacities. Though only one person is coming primarily into the home, they are supported by a team of therapist who they consult with on a weekly basis.

How to ReferA child may be referred to Birth to Three by anyone. A child does not need to be referred by their Pediatrician. If you have concerns with regards to your child’s adaptive (self-help), social-emotional, communication, motor, or cognitive (play) skills you can make a referral through either of the two options listed below:
