Deaf Kids Enrichment Club
The Deaf Kids Enrichment CLub is designed to support the educational and recreational needs of youth between the ages of 5-21 who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Hard of Hearing, CODA or have Cochlear Implants. The purpose of the club is to help deaf youth develop necessary life skills, improve self-confidence, practice leadership, learn social responsibility, contribute to fundraising, and form a supportive network of friends like them.
The Deaf Kids Enrichment Club typically meets two days a week throughout the summer, with a week-long stay at Camp NuHop. The Club also provides opportunities throughout the year for deaf and hard of hearing youth to be involved in educational, recreational, community service, leadership training and fundraising events.
