Deaf Kids Enrichment Club Activities

The Deaf Kids Enrichment Club strives to provide educational & recreational programs for the youth to live, learn, work and play in their communities.  Club activities include:


Recreational - A variety of fun activities including; roller skating, ice skating, bowling, and other field trips within the community.

Educational - Guest speakers discuss various topics of interest to the Club. Topics range from life after high school to life experiences of individuals with communication challenges and where they are now.

Leadership - Club members participate in community projects, such as the United Way Youth Services Day and volunteering for fundraising events.

OYO Camp - A week-long stay at a regional campground staffed by Deaf professionals available to Deaf and HOH youth ages 7 - high school.  Visit their website at www.oyocamp.org.
