Easter Seals elected John F. Jostrand to their International Board of Directors at its recent meeting in Washington, DC.

“I have been involved with Easter Seals for many years, and I see the organization continuously giving back to their community in whatever way they can,” said Jostrand. “Being a part of the board of directors is a true honor.”

Jostrand has been a member of several civic and professional organizations, including the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Chicago and Pilgrim Village, and currently sits on the Easter Seals of DuPage Board of Directors and is a trustee for the Chancellors Society at the University of Missouri. In 2012, he was a delegate to the Easter Seals national convention.

In his role as chair of Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region’s Program Committee, John analyzed the organization’s current business model and led the charge in focusing on new methods of services delivery that foster long-term sustainability.

“We are thrilled to have John as a part of the Easter Seals team,” said James E. Williams, Jr., president and chief executive officer, Easter Seals. “He has been dedicated to our organization for many years, and we are confident he will make an excellent addition to the International Board Members for Easter Seals.”
