Throughout Autism Awareness Month in April, more than 900 Hair Cuttery salons nationwide will offer customers an opportunity to Act For Autism in support of local Easter Seals services for families living with autism. Hair Cuttery fundraising will include point-of-sale consumer donations and an online coupon for customers who donate online to Easter Seals.

“We are proud to partner with Easter Seals for a second year because of their commitment to providing the best services to the millions of children and families living with autism across the country,” says Dennis Ratner, Founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “Many of our associates have been personally touched by autism and other disabilities, so they understand the crucial need for support at the earliest stage in life.”

Demonstrating its dedication to providing services and support to people living with autism, Hair Cuttery will match every donation made in its salons or online up to $10,000. Autism is treatable, and people living with autism can make significant progress at any age. For children, getting the right support early in life is critical to gaining the skills they need to be successful.

Together with Hair Cuttery, whose stylists are eager to make a difference where they live, Easter Seals is continuing to provide life-changing services to children and adults with autism and other disabilities so they can live, learn, work and play in their communities.

“As the nation’s leading provider of autism services, Easter Seals is privileged to work with a company like Hair Cuttery, which is committed to the well being of families in the communities in which it does business,” says James E. Williams, Jr., President and CEO of Easter Seals. “By working together, Hair Cuttery and Easter Seals can raise awareness of and support for the critical services needed by young children with developmental delays and autism.”
