WHY

Thrive was created in Boston by a group of women to address a growing need for support of young women with disabilities as they transition into adulthood.

Monthly Twitter chats are possible through the national expansion of Thrive’s digital community. Thrive’s digital presence gives millions of women an opportunity to utilize the life experiences and advocacy from one another, no matter their location. Digital mentor interaction is coordinated through email, video-chat and phone.

In addition to mentoring and Twitter chats, Thrive encourages young women to interact with one another through their active social media community, book club and a series of Google Hangouts
