Our preschoolers at Easter Seals, who are going to kindergarten in the fall, participated in a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 17th. This is an annual event that our children, their parents, grandparents, families and our staff look forward to. They sing several songs, get awards and certificates, and share refreshments with their guests.
Some of our graduates have been with us from six weeks old attending our childcare programs or participating in Physical, Occupational or Speech therapies. Some of the other children have just attended our preschool program throughout the school year.
"It is very rewarding to watch each child grow individually and work towards their potential goals set by their parents, their teachers, and their therapists", Pam Rainey, Director of Early Childhood Services.
