Knowing when or who to turn to for help during crisis and stressful situations is challenging. Easter Seals Michigan (ESM) offers services and resources for families who are:
ESM provides comprehensive, office and community based behavioral health services for families with children from birth to 18 years of age. Services are intended to increase resiliency by building on strengths and community supports to help families care for children in their own homes and provide the tools for children to thrive. ESM strives to provide services that are research based and proven to provide effective solutions and outcomes for the child and family.
Our core services include individual, family and group therapy. 24/7 coverage for crisis intervention, Family centered planning, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychological testing and neuropsychological testing.
In addition to the outpatient services, ESM provides more intensive home and community based services to children and their families who have serious emotional conditions and /or substance abuse conditions. Services are eligibility based and funded through Community Mental Health. These services include:
ESM accepts most major insurances including Medicaid HMO’s. Outpatient Services are provided at the Centerline, Auburn Hills, Southfield and Flint locations. Community Based programming is provided at Auburn Hills and Southfield serving Oakland County, Flint serving Genesee County and Grand Rapids serving Kent county. ESM receives funding through Network 180, Genesee Health System, Macomb County Community Mental Health and Oakland County Community Mental Health for individuals and families eligible under Medicaid.
