Easter Seals has the nation’s largest network of child development centers for infants through preschool (0-5 years of age). In these settings educators meet the needs of students (with and without disabilities) through the use of specialized approaches and instruction to prepare preschoolers for entry into the school system or to support current students to achieve at their highest level.

With a focus on reaching developmental milestones through hands-on learning, services are provided in a natural environment to promote growth and success.

Murray Child Development Center- Tampa

The Murray Child Development Center is a NAC accredited center serving children ages 1-5 years.  Our small setting program assists families with preventive health care, serve as a liaison between a child’s physician and the school, implement therapy and early intervention plans in the classroom setting The Creative Curriculum for Preschool which are comprehensive research-based curricula that feature exploration and discovery as ways of learning.  We also use Teaching Strategies Gold for assessment and monitoring ongoing growth.  The Murray Center is a Gold Seal Provider.
 
Our teachers modify their classroom curriculum as needed such that each child receives specialized instruction which meets their unique needs.  Each child is screened for delays upon enrollment and at their birth month using the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ).  Based on these ASQ’s and any additional information provided by the family, physician or therapist, goals are created.  The teachers work collaboratively with therapists and families to support success in reaching goals and developmental milestones.

Igoe-Amar Child Development Center- West Palm Beach

With over  30 years of Early Childhood experience, we have created a rich learning environment that will stimulate your child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth and development for children with disabilities in Palm Beach County. We are certified as a Palm Beach County Children’s Services Council Strong Minds and Gold Seal provider. We offer three unique small setting programs, that provide quality service to children ages birth to 5 where we assist families with preventive health care, serve as a liaison between a child’s physician and the school, implement therapy and early intervention plans in the classroom setting. We use The Creative Curriculum for Preschool which is a comprehensive research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Our teachers work collaboratively with therapists and families to support success in reaching goals and developmental milestones.

Our Blooming Buddies Classroom specializes in child development for those children ages birth to five who have moderate to severe disabilities and thus need more intensive care. The children’s health is monitored by a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant, and offer specialized equipment and learning tools. We also maintain a 1:4 teacher/student ratio.

Our Tiny Tots Classroom is for children ages two through three, where we builds on skills and provides a safe and happy environment for toddlers to become more independent. This program introduces skills in problem solving, concept formation, cooperation and self-help. Providing more than daycare service, our teachers provide a high level of personal interaction, intent on nurturing each child individually. We strive to be the best daycare facility in West Palm Beach.
Our Krusin’ Kids classroom educates our Pre-K population ages 3-5 where teachers use child-initiated activities that balance play and discovery with teacher direction and instruction. Early preschoolers are guided in making an important transition from individual play to group play. Creative activities encourage self-expression through movement, painting and dramatic play. Both classrooms offer a low teacher/student ratio, wide variety of activities, in addition to a nurturing environment.
