What is Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills?
On April 25-26, Connecticut Community Foundation will host Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills for the fifth consecutive year. Give Local is a 36-hour online community giving event that raises essential dollars for the vital work of hundreds of nonprofit organizations in our region. Since its creation in 2011, Give Local has raised more than $3.2 million for area nonprofits thanks to the generosity of thousands of donors, area businesses and organizations united in giving to make our community stronger. Ion Bank Foundation, as the presenting sponsor for each Give Local event, deserves special thanks for their leadership, generosity and commitment.
How does it work?
For 36 hours on April 25-26 donors may visit www.GiveLocalCCF.org to make secure donations to Easterseas of Greater Waterbury. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. Every dollar donated will be enhanced with bonus funds provided by Connecticut Community Foundation and Give Local sponsors—making donor dollars stretch farther! Nonprofits will also be eligible for cash prizes.
When is Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills?
Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills will take place from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. All event-related donations must be made through www.GiveLocalCCF.org during that 36-hour period.
