Who We Are

At the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN, we are working to make profound, positive differences in the lives of local people with disabilities every day, and to change the way our community defines and views disability.

Mission and Vision

Our mission is to provide exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence.

History and Impact

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center was born in 1946 out of a deep commitment to creating a more inclusive community for individuals with disabilities. Since then, we have grown and adapted to meet the changing needs of our community, expanding our programs and services to reach more individuals in need.

Our impact has been significant, helping  more than 5,600 children and adults with disabilities from a 30-county area of southwestern Indiana, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky. From early childhood education and therapy, to vocational training and job placement, to community recreation and wellness programs, we work tirelessly to support individuals and families on their journey towards independence, inclusion, and empowerment.
