Residential Services

Enhancing independence and quality of life

The Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center's Group Home program is now enrolling adult residents with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Our nonprofit, client-centered organization has more than 25 years of group home experience! If you or a family member are in need of a caring, home-like, structured environment, call 812-437-2646; email Christy Gogel or Suzanne Ailstock; or contact us online.

Home is a special place to feel secure, comfortable, and encouraged. For many people with multiple and significant disabilities, that special place is an Easterseals Rehabilitation Center group residence.

Each of our long-term group homes is located in a residential neighborhood in Evansville, Newburgh, or Chandler, Indiana. Eight adults share each home, and 24-hour care is provided by caring, professional staff members. We strive to provide residents a  welcoming, home-like environment with a warm family feeling.

Services for residents include individual goal planning, therapeutic and recreational supplies, food and personal supplies, and transportation for community access. Day program opportunities are also available.

Parents and other family members are encouraged to maintain a close relationship with residents and can continue to act as legal guardians. Home visits as often as every weekend are welcomed.

Group home services are funded primarily through Indiana’s Medicaid Waiver program, with eligibility determined by the state. Easterseals Rehabilitation Center staff can assist families in the process.
