Autism (ASD) Services

Easterseals programs across the country provide a wide variety of interventions that help individuals of all abilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Easterseals Central Texas currently has a combination of services specifically targeting individuals with the diagnosis of ASD as well as other services that include individuals with ASD among their service recipients, including:

Greenleaf Neurodiversity Community Center, which offers vocational exploration opportunities and structured social activities that focus on individual capabilities and strengths, starting with programming for young adults who have skills and interests in creative arts and technology. Greenleaf NCC offers several programs for social creativity and employment services.

Our Early Childhood Intervention Program program serves babies and toddlers, aged 6 weeks to 6 years, who have received an ASD diagnosis. Emphasis is given to increasing language, engagement, and social skills, which help children learn to form natural friendships, while preparing for success in kindergarten.

Parent Support and Training Program provides support and training for parents of all children enrolled in our Little Lonestar Academy, as well as  for parents of children with special needs in the Austin area.
