Senior Services

In the next decade, over 71 million Americans will be 65 years of age and older. With the increasing numbers of older persons and persons with lifelong disabilities living longer, we will see a broader demand for home and community-based services. These services will help manage activities of daily living that may be limited as a result of acute or chronic conditions, and will keep people integrated in their communities. Easterseals Nebraska offers programs to help seniors with disabilities reach their full potential.

Alternative Financing Solutions

Easterseals Nebraska provides low-interest loans for the purchase of assistive technology devices and services. Assistive technology is any device or service that helps a person with a disability maintain or increase independence or overcome a barrier to employment.

Camp, Respite & Recreation

Easterseals Nebraska week-long summer camps, weekend respite camps and daycamps provide the same excitement, joys, challenges and activity available at other programs in a fully-accessible setting. We accept campers with any disability and ages 5-100+. Campers gain independence and social interaction skills while participating in a variety of fun, adapted activities.

Nebraska AgrAbility

Nebraska AgrAbility serves Nebraska’s Farmers and Ranchers affected by disability. It offers technical assistance to participants to help them work with their disability, peer support with individuals who have similar disabilities, and educational programs about accommodating disability in agriculture.
