Meet the members of our 2023-2024 internship class:

Alyssa Guard in close-up
Alyssa Guard

Alyssa Guard is completing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Indiana, she earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2020. She has experience working in various settings such as hospitals, counseling centers, and a private practice doing psychological testing, individual therapy, and psycho-educational groups. Her clinical interests include working with children, adolescents, and their families in both intervention and assessment services, particularly providing treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders.
 
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys being with her cats, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is very excited to be working at Easterseals and to continue learning and growing during her internship.

Olivia Heck

Olivia Heck is completing her PhD in School Psychology at Indiana University - Bloomington. She graduated from Ripon College in 2019 with a BA in Psychology, and received her MSEd in Educational Psychology from Indiana University - Bloomington in 2021. Olivia has experience administering neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental assessments, implementing school-based social and emotional interventions, and providing school-based consultation with teachers. These experiences have solidified her passion for providing psychological services to children and families. Olivia's clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders and school-related problems.

Olivia is originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, participating in book clubs, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling. She is very excited to continue to learn and grow during her internship at Easterseals.

Victoria Moss

Tori Moss is completing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis. After completing her undergraduate degrees in psychology and business management at Ohio University, Tori earned her Master's degree in clinical psychology at the University of Indianapolis in 2020. Throughout her graduate training, Tori has worked in community mental health, private practices, and nonprofit medical centers with adults, children, and their families. Tori has experience administering neuropsychological assessments, conducting play therapy, and leading families in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Her clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly Autism Spectrum disorder.

In her free time, Tori enjoys reading fantasy novels, hiking, and fostering kittens. Tori is looking forward to her year at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center and continuing to grow as a clinician.
