Summary:

Salary will be $40,000 per year, plus insurance and time off benefits

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic, organized and detail-oriented individual for the position of Assessment Specialist in Tampa. Our program serves children from birth to age five with developmental delays. The Assessment Specialist will perform developmental evaluations of children from birth to age five, referred to the program for the purpose of determining program eligibility.

Basic Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • One to two years of similar experience in therapy, early education, or similar field
  • Bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written a plus but not required
  • Experience in administering screenings and/or assessments (ASQ, BDI-3, or similar)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • We work around the parent's schedule and availability. You must have the ability to work anytime between the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the understanding that you can flex your time to meet the 37.5 hour work week.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office products
  • An energetic and professional individual who will promote a positive, respectful and team-based environment
