Situated in the heart of Volusia County, this is where Easterseals transforms dreams into opportunities for children with disabilities and the families who cherish them.

Named in honor of Edgar Allen, a visionary Rotarian from 1920 Ohio, whose tragic personal story led to the founding of the National Crippled Children's Society—later evolving into Easterseals. With pride, we introduce Edgar's Farm, a space where history, compassion, and dreams intersect.

Our vision for Edgar's Farm is ambitious—a K-12 private school, the Empowerment Academy. It stands as a unique education option, encouraging children to explore their individual abilities and recognize their limitless potential.

Imagine a beautiful, multi-purpose campus with an innovative academic and therapeutic focus, drawing on Easterseals' extensive clinical and pediatric expertise. This empowers families and children with the services and support they need to thrive.

Consider the incredible gift the Empowerment Academy and Edgar's Farm offer to parents. It brings to life the supportive, fun, nurturing, and wondrous environment they envisioned for their child.

In the therapeutic haven of Edgar's Farm, we transcend conventional education. This nurturing space enables us to integrate crucial support services that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Behavior supports are integral to our commitment. Recognizing the unique challenges our children may face, we provide tailored strategies and assistance, fostering an environment where they can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

Transition services for young adults are pivotal in our Empowerment Academy. As our students transition into adulthood, we guide them with comprehensive programs, ensuring a smooth journey into the next chapter of their lives. From vocational training to life skills, we are dedicated to empowering them every step of the way.

The existing pastures and fields witness the birth of micro-businesses as our children and young adults learn the art of agriculture, growing vegetables, flowers, and fruits.

The aquatic therapy program, already successful at our Dunn Avenue location, now expands with a state-of-the-art pool, offering not only therapy but crucial drowning prevention lessons. We're bringing world-class services to the community, one stroke at a time.

And who could forget the trusted equine therapy program? Nine horses and a donkey stand ready to continue this transformative journey. Animals are the heart of a farm, and they're an integral part of Edgar's Farm.

But for this dream to thrive, we need you. Volunteers, donors, and community partners—join us as we turn dreams into reality. Edgar's Farm is more than a place; it's a community's commitment to empower, uplift, and make a lasting impact on the lives of our children. Come dream with us, and let's make Edgar's Farm a beacon of hope for generations to come.

Edgars Farm works to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play, within a safe and supportive environment.
